house

this is the place our old house was, the house my sister and i grew up in. i heard it was being demolished so i went to visit.

the linoleum floor, the gold ceiling painted by mum, the fireplace where we kept tapes, the casement windows, the rain tank, winding pathway, the yellow porch, our computer lair, the backyard pavers.....sadly gone.

olive tree. neighbours would pick em and jar em in the 90s.
weed-grass is cool. it grows on its own.

plastic stuffs around the site.

remains of walls and windows..the colour of these tiny specks brings back memories.

all that remains of the shed.

i remember being way too short to see over this fence, actually it used to be cracked and our neighbour would invite herself over. adieu, poor house. actually, to respect it i would love to be the one to design something for it. either: a house on stilts, which left the ground exactly as it is, smashed bits and all. or some type of public park  :-)
